Introducing the Revised SUMP Guidelines (Video)

The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Guidelines, first published in 2013 have been updated in 2019 following extensive stakeholder and practitioner consultation. Matthew Baldwin (Deputy Director-General responsible for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) explains the rationale behind the revisions and provides a brief introduction to the new documents. 

The co-ordinator of the entire revisions and stakeholder engagement process, Siegfried Rupprecht, Executive Director of Rupprecht Consult gives details of the process and Bronwyn Thornton Development Director of Walk21 helps to summarise the purpose of a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan.
