Velo-city call for abstracts extended until 30 November 2020

Velo-city is inviting cyclists to share their experiences, expertise, and reflections on the theme of cycle diversity for the Velo-city 2021 Lisboa conference. The conference will run from 1 – 4 June 2021 in Lisbon, however, may be delivered via an online platform - with a decision on this pending further development in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Velo-city aims to highlight the importance of cycle diversity and address inequities in cities by increasing bicycle access. The conference provides an opportunity to spread ideas and inspiration to a global audience, and will cover five related sub-themes:

  1. Bicycle diversity & urban mobility
  2. Economy and tourism
  3. Reshaping cities & politics
  4. Community building, co-creation & inclusion
  5. Health & climate

The deadline has been extended until 30 November 2020. Further information on the submission guidelines, and the link to submit an abstract can be found on the Velo-city website.
