POLIS 2022: the Call for Speakers is now open!

Are you an urban mobility professional interested in presenting innovative solutions at one of the leading events in the field? This might be your call!

The time has come; we are happy to announce that the Call for Speakers for Annual POLIS Conference 2022 is now open! Taking place on 30 November and 1 December 2022 in Brussels (Belgium), the parallel sessions aim to feature a diverse mix of highly passionate and qualified speakers eager to present the latest innovations in the mobility field. From urban researchers to city and region representatives, and from start-up projects to industry leaders - we are open to proposals from different fields of mobility.

Over the past few editions of the POLIS Conference, we have been trying to address the gender imbalance in the transport sector (check out some of the amazing actions taken by members to #BreakTheBias in this article we published at the beginning of the month) by making women more visible and offering them a platform to share their work. We, therefore, strongly encourage women in the transport sector to respond to our Call for Speakers!

What are we looking for?

We will prioritise contributions that are high on the mobility agenda of cities and regions, featured in today's debates around urban transport innovation, such as:

  • Dynamically managing urban space
  • Unlocking the value of mobility data
  • Ensuring a Just Transition ... and many more!

The full list of topics can be found in the 'Call for Speakers' document here.

If you wish to present a topic during the conference, all you have to do is pick one of the priority topics in the 'Call for Speakers' document and submit your abstract via our online form. You can submit an abstract until 16 May 2022 (23h59 CEST).
