CIVITAS Forum 2024: Call for speakers on Urban Mobility Renaissance

The CIVITAS Forum 2024 has opened its call for speakers to participate in its upcoming three-day conference, scheduled from 1-3 October 2024 in Parma, Italy

As a prominent platform in the realm of sustainable and smart mobility, the CIVITAS Forum fosters learning, idea-sharing and collaboration among leaders and experts in urban mobility across Europe. With a typical attendance of around 600 participants, including city representatives, policymakers, urban practitioners, planners and academics, the forum seeks to explore the theme of "Mobility Renaissance: a holistic approach to urban transformation."

The conference aims to delve into various areas of urban mobility, focusing on three key thematic streams:

  1. Climate-neutral and resilient mobility
  2. Smart, connected, and efficient mobility
  3. Inclusive and safe mobility for all.

Speaker applications are encouraged to align with these themes and should aim to facilitate interactive knowledge exchange among attendees. Proposals can encompass expertise, tools, solutions and challenges pertinent to shaping the future of urban mobility and contributing to the mobility renaissance.

Interested speakers are invited to submit their proposals by 30 May 2024, adhering to the guidelines outlined by the forum (please consult the call document). The organising team encourages potential speakers to emphasise the interactive nature of their contributions, aiming to foster meaningful connections and collaborative learning opportunities throughout the conference.

With its focus on advancing sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions, the CIVITAS Forum 2024 promises to be an engaging and insightful event for all participants involved in the transformation of urban mobility landscapes.
