Arabic translation of the SUMP guidelines now available

The 2nd edition of the SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan) Guidelines was made available to cities worldwide in 2019. Meanwhile, many national institutions have been working to translate the SUMP Guidelines into their own language – to make them even easier to use and to establish the concept of SUMPs in their own country.

An Arabic version has now been developed by Hancock Hutton Langues Services and Asmaa Moustaine of TRANSITEC Engenheiros-Consultores. With this release, Arabic decision-makers and planners are encouraged to apply the concept of SUMP and establish integrated planning practices.

All current and future translations are available to download as documents from the SUMP Guidelines page on the EU Urban Mobility Observatory.
