EU city database on SUMPs
The EU city database on SUMPs is an information repository featuring sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMPs) and other urban mobility plans from across Europe. The aim of the city database is to provide accurate SUMP-related information on different European cities by the end of 2025.
Currently covering data on major European cities and regional hubs, namely the 431 urban nodes of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T network), the EU city database displays the number of inhabitants and the SUMP status for each entry, as well as a web link to the published plans, where available, and to the official city website.
The city database is accessed through this user-friendly interactive map to present information collected from official sources such as Eurostat, national population databases, national and regional databases on urban mobility plans and SUMPs, and city websites.

The city database is reviewed and updated every six months to gather key information on SUMPs in urban nodes and other European cities. The review serves to update existing city profiles and add new city profiles.
