Participate in the JULIA project survey: Connecting users to public transport through space technology

Stakeholders are invited to participate in the JULIA Project survey, an initiative funded by the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) under grant agreement No 101129891. JULIA, short for Joint Developments for Urban Resilience Connecting Users to Public Transport through Space Technology, is a pioneering project aimed at enhancing the integration of EU Space services and data within the global public transport market.

The JULIA Project survey is a critical component of this initiative, designed to gather insights from key stakeholders, including public transport authorities (PTAs), public transport operators (PTOs) and city officials. By participating in this survey, contributors will provide valuable information that will help the project team understand the current use and awareness of Galileo's benefits in the public transport sector from both technical and economic perspectives.

Participation in this survey will enable the collection of essential data on how space technology, particularly Galileo, is currently being utilised and perceived within the public transport sector. This information is crucial for identifying gaps, understanding challenges, and ultimately enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of public transport systems through the integration of advanced space technologies.

All responses will be treated as confidential and will be used exclusively for research purposes by the JULIA consortium. The project team is committed to safeguarding the privacy of participants; all data collected will be securely stored and accessible only to a limited number of authorised consortium members.

Furthermore, participants have the right to access, rectify, or delete their data at any time. Those wishing to exercise these rights or who have any questions regarding the survey or their participation are encouraged to contact the project team at infoatjuliaproject [dot] eu (info[at]juliaproject[dot]eu).

The insights and participation of stakeholders are invaluable to the success of the JULIA Project. The project team deeply appreciates the time and effort of all contributors to this important initiative.

The first round of responses are being collected on 19 July; however, the survey will remain open beyond this date to ensure as much input as possible is received.
