6th ProSUMP Regional Workshop

The 6th Promoting Regional Exchange on the Implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans in the Western Balkans (ProSUMP) Regional Workshop will take place on Thursday, 10 October 2024, during the CIVINET Forum in Split, Croatia.

Following the successful Green Mobility Summit, the cooperation between ORF ETC's subproject ProSUMP and the Transport Community continues to thrive. This upcoming ProSUMP Regional Workshop, Path to the Greener Future – Driving Towards Climate Neutrality: Innovative Public Transport Solutions and Financial Models, will bring together representatives from governments, transportation experts, and researchers from the Western Balkans and beyond. Representatives from cities, regional governments, and institutions in the region are welcome to this event to exchange knowledge and experiences.
 

The workshop will feature:

• a presentation of the Integrated SUMP Framework for the Western Balkans;
• the EU’s vision, trends, and funding for sustainable and digital mobility;
• a presentation of the institutionalisation of digital transformation and smart mobility solutions.

Apart from the ProSUMP Regional Workshop, the two-day CIVINET Forum will also feature panel discussions, workshops, and a site visit organised by the host city to showcase its innovative public transport solutions. Follow this link to view the full CIVINET Forum programme (in Croatian).

The forum is organised by ODRAZ / the CIVINET Slovenia-Croatia-Southeast Europe Network Secretariat, in collaboration with the City of Split, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and the Transport Community.
