The EU city database on SUMPs is an information repository featuring Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and other urban mobility plans in EU Member States. It provides information on the 431 urban nodes on the trans-European transport network (TEN-T network), and other EU cities with a population above 50,000, that are at different stages of SUMP development.
Key information includes: the SUMP status and the number of inhabitants for each urban node, as well as a web link to the published plans where available, and to the city website.
The information presented in the EU city database is gathered from publicly-available, official sources such as Eurostat, national population databases, national and regional databases on urban mobility plans and SUMPs, and city websites.
You can search for a city, and filter by country, TEN-T corridor, or urban nodes.
Click on ‘i' in the panel on the right, for information on how to use the map.
