RTR Conference: Presenting results from road transport research

The RTR Conference on Results from Road Transport Research will take place from 11–13 February 2025 in Brussels (BE). Organised by the European Commission, 2zero, ERTRAC, the CCAM Partnership, and the Batt4EU Partnership, this event will showcase the results and impacts of EU-funded road transport research projects, focusing on key areas such as Green Vehicles, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Safety, and Automated Road Transport. 

The conference will feature 26 sessions, 92 projects, and 100 speakers across the three day event with several sessions dedicated to urban mobility related topics, such as: 

• Sustainable Urban Logistics: Presentations will cover projects such as SENATOR, which focuses on smart solutions for sustainable urban freight, and UNCHAIN, which predicts urban freight demand. Other projects like DISCO, URBANE, DECARBOMILE, and GREEN-LOG will explore data-driven logistics, green last-mile deliveries, and decarbonising urban freight.
• Safer Urban Environments: Presentations in this session will highlight projects like PHOEBE and SOTERIA, which offer predictive safety solutions and integrated safety frameworks designed to protect vulnerable road users in urban environments.
• New Mobility Services in Cities: Experts will present projects like MOVE21, SCALE-UP, SUM, and GEMINI, which focus on creating connected, multimodal, and sustainable mobility solutions for cities.
