The logistics provider GLS is testing a new means of delivering its services in a way that is carbon emission free. In the inner city of Dortmund, a new delivery vehicle called “eScooter” is now being used in real world tests.

Germany is looking at new plans to tackle the issue of emission levels from heavy-vehicles: to exempt electric trucks from truck tolls. The exemption from the tolls would start next year, in 2019. Estimates suggest that the effect could be savings of around €5,000 depending on the actual routes take

On 1st of May, Austrian Labour Day, the initiative “Cycling Lottery – cycling to work” began in the Province of Vorarlberg, Austria. The Cycling Lottery takes place in the frame of the cycling competition “Radius”, which attracted more than 11,000 participants this year
