SUMP is coming to Hungary – new Hungarian translation now available

By first publishing in English, the 2nd edition of the SUMP Guidelines was made available to cities worldwide. Meanwhile, many national institutions have been working to translate the SUMP Guidelines into their own language – to make them even easier to use and to establish the concept of SUMPs in their own country.

In Hungary, Mobilissimus (a mobility planning company based in Budapest) and the KTI Research Institute for Transport Science have now jointly developed a Hungarian version. As experienced institutions working with sustainable urban mobility planning, they have, for example, supported cities with their SUMP development or offered national training and a national platform on the topic.

With this fresh release, Hungarian decision-makers and planners are encouraged to apply the concept of SUMP and establish integrated planning practices.
