Request for Proposals on the development of Regional and Local SUMPs (Georgia)

UNDP Georgia has announced a Request for Proposals on behalf of the UNDP-GEF project 'Green Cities: Integrated Sustainable Transport for the City of Batumi and Ajara Region'.

The overall objective of the assignment is to assist the Regional Government of the Autonomous Republic of Achara and municipal governments of the selected five Acharian municipalities (Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo, Kobuleti and Khelvachauri) in developing sustainable and resilient urban transport systems on municipal and regional levels with a holistic and integrated approach, meaning that municipal plans shall be developed with due consideration of regional scale plan and regional plan shall be developed with due consideration of each municipal plan. Main outputs to be produced during the
assignment, are as follows:
Output 1. – Sustainable and Resilient Urban Mobility Plans (SRUMP) for each of five selected municipality
Output 2. – Low-carbon Regional Passenger Transportation Masterplan for Achara Autonomous Republic
Output 3. – Institutional / Organizational Framework for Regional Transportation Authority for Achara Autonomous Republic

All interested companies are kindly invited to submit their proposals latest by 12 April 2018.
