Register now for European Mobility Week 2022

The registration for EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK is now open. Towns and cities are warmly invited to participate in the week, which takes place from 16-22 September each year.

EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK is the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility. It encourages behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport and other clean, intelligent transport solutions.

The annual theme for 2022 is ‘Better Connections’. This seeks to highlight and foster synergies between people and places that are offering their expertise, creativity and dedication to raising awareness about sustainable mobility and promoting behavioural change in favour of active mobility, in addition to reaching out and making connections between existing groups and new audiences.

Towns and cities are able to register all of the activities they plan to carry out to celebrate the campaign, including:

  • organising activities focused on sustainable mobility during the main event week;
  • implementing one or more permanent transport measures throughout the year;
  • and holding a ‘Car-Free-Day'.

Only the official local authority of the participating town or city may register on behalf of that city. Once registered, your National Coordinator, or the European Info Point, must approve your city or town's registration before it is published on the website.
