New call for EU Green Week 2021 Partner Events

EU Green Week is your annual opportunity to debate and discuss European environmental policy. Organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment, this key event in the environment policy calendar attracts policymakers, leading environmentalists, stakeholders and other interested parties from across Europe and around the globe.

The 2021 edition of EU Green Week will take place from 31 May to 4 June 2021.

EU Green Week 2021 will be dedicated to the ‘zero pollution ambition’. It will also look at other relevant European Green Deal initiatives, such the climate initiatives and the upcoming Chemicals Strategy, as well as initiatives in the fields of energy, industry, mobility, agriculture, fisheries, health and biodiversity. EU Green Week 2021 will be an opportunity to engage with all stakeholders and interested residents on how we can work together to make the ambition for a zero pollution and toxic-free environment a reality.

In addition to the high-level conference in Brussels, EU Green Week 2021 is expected to feature numerous activities with a local, national and EU-wide scope, organised by partners and associates around Europe from 3 May until 13 June 2021.

Becoming an EU Green Week partner will give you the opportunity to showcase your achievements to a wider audience and exchange with other participants about topics related to the most current European environmental policy challenges. It is also an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts and contribute to policy development. 

The selection requirements for the Partner Events are:

• The event needs to be relevant to the EU Green Week 2021 theme: towards a zero-pollution ambition for air, water and soil. 
• Any kind of event is welcome, from conferences and workshops to exhibitions, webinars, networking and online events.
• The event can cover all different angles, for instance from the perspective of the need for better governance, implementation of existing legislation, training and education or residents’ initiatives. 
• Activities can take place at local, regional, national or EU level.
