Monaco introduces its MaaS application MONAPASS

Monaco has launched its MaaS application 'Monapass'. The service is an all-in-one application combining journey planning and payment for buses, the electric bike sharing service “MonaBike”, as well as for on-street parking.

MonaPass was developed by the City Hall of Monaco and Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM), the local public transport provider. It is designed for the use by residents, commuters, and tourists alike.

Monapass provides real-time traffic information, bus timetables and bicycle availability and location. Users can pay by card, subscription or other payment method to plan and book their trips with just one single ticket, pass or other subscription.

Monapass works with digital solutions of Flowbird. The next planned step is an open payments system that allows the use of a bank card as the transport ticket, as well as phones or watches. The open payment service safeguards users to get the price out of their use patterns, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
