HARMONY launches survey on COVID-19 impact on policy-making planning process

The H2020 funded project Harmony recently launched a survey, targeted at local authorities and decision-makers, to assess the impact of COVID-19 on policy planning processes.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the project identified the need to explore changes in policy-making and urban-transport planning priorities.

Thus, the survey was devised to capture stakeholders' opinions on the changing priorities in transport planning, as well as actions to achieve those priorities and the tools used. Further, it aims to capture the approach employed by the public sector in the planning process to pinpoint shortcomings in the process and understand how resilience can be promoted in an emergency scenario.

Specifically, it will collect respondents’ views on:

1. potential changes in urban and transport planning priorities due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
2. the actions used to implement the prioritised or new planning objectives.
3. the planning tools or processes that are in place in your organisation.

The survey is online until 17 of November 2020 and takes 10-15 minutes to complete - access the survey here.
