In April, the eBRT2030 project launched its upgraded website, featuring a new Knowledge Hub. This dedicated section offers comprehensive insights into the project’s progress and highlights key developments in sustainable urban transport.
A standout feature of the Knowledge Hub is a dynamic mapping tool, developed by project partner FACTUAL. This tool provides detailed, city-specific information on each eBRT2030 demonstration site. Users can explore public transport policies, system characteristics and spatial layouts - visualised through an intuitive interface and spider maps based on the project's unique scorecard.
The Knowledge Hub also presents a visual overview of eBRT2030 innovations, which include advances in:
- Vehicle systems
- Charging infrastructure
- Digital connectivity
These innvovations are being tested in seven demonstration cities across Europe and beyond, supporting the transition to cleaner, more efficient urban mobility through electric Bus Rapid Transit systems.
Additionally, the launch included the unveiling of a new section dedicated to the project’s Advisory Board. This expert group provides strategic guidance and evaluates project outcomes, helping shape future technology and market roadmaps for EBRT systems in urban and peri-urban areas.
Finally, the site highlights eBRT2030’s active role in the 2ZERO partnership, an EU initiative working towards carbon-neutral road transport by 2050 through collaborative innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
