CALL FOR PAPERS: Crossmoby workshop in Venice, 22-23 October 2020
This activity is supported as part of CROSSMOBY, an Interreg project supported by the Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
The path towards a barrier-free single European market requires particular attention to be paid to cross-border transport. In spite of the intense commitment and actions taken by the European Union as well as by national governments and regions, much remains to be done in order to dissolve all the barriers to cross-border mobility of people. Issues are not only infrastructural but also related to administrative and planning coordination. The aim of the workshop is to provide a systematic analysis of what has already been done and what are the next priorities.
Scholars and practitioners are invited to submit their research on the general subject highlighted above. This includes the following, which is a non-exhaustive list of topics:
- The state-of-the-art of EU cross border transport policy
- Indicators of sustainability and accessibility in cross border transport
- The impact of cross border mobility on economic growth and equality
