In a move to lead and advance sustainable mobility in Ukraine, the CIVITAS Initiative has opened a call for proposals for the establishment of a CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat.
The CIVITAS Initiative works to advance research and innovation solutions in sustainable urban mobility and plays an active role in disseminating transport and mobility policy across Europe and beyond.
The development of a CIVINETs platform in Ukraine would allow for improved collaboration, knowledge exchange, and peer learning between Ukraine and the rest of Europe. It would also allow for Ukraine to make the most of the network’s expertise in European and national transport policies, legislation and funding.
The secretariat would be integral in maintaining and establishing Ukraine’s role within the network. They would be responsible for tasks such as coordinating member engagement and the network’s local activities, while also act as the key point of contact in the country. All activities would be driven by the goal to strengthen and widen Ukraine’s transportation landscape.
Interested parties from Ukraine are invited to submit a proposal for hosting and managing the CIVINET Ukraine Secretariat by Monday, 10 June 2024.
