Call for members to join the CIVITAS Policy Advisory Committee

Politicians from CIVITAS cities are invited to apply to become members of the new CIVITAS Policy Advisory Committee.

The current CIVITAS Political Advisory Committee will soon become the CIVITAS Policy Advisory Committee (PAC), and highly motivated political representatives from the CIVITAS community are being sought to join its ranks.  

They will convene regularly to share experiences on sustainable urban mobility and act as the advisory group for the CIVITAS Initiative and network of cities.

Elected politicians from the CIVITAS Forum Network cities are encouraged to apply to join the PAC for the mandate 2020-2022.

Interested candidates should send an Expression of Interest to paccivitas [dot] eu (pac[at]civitas[dot]eu). These letters of intent should present the candidates’ motivation and vision for their mandate as a PAC member, as well as state their current role, experience, and links with the CIVITAS initiative. The letters should be no longer than 1,000 words.

The deadline for sending the Expression of Interest is 10 September 2020. The selection process will take place in September, with the new PAC mandate beginning in October 2020 when the first meeting of the new PAC is expected to take place.
