ArtMED project launches .MOBI tool for planning on-demand mobility

The Interreg Euro-MED project ArtMED has launched .MOBI, a free online tool that supports public transport authorities, mobility planners and local administrations in assessing and planning Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) and Autonomous Mobility on Demand (AMoD) services.

.MOBI enables users to estimate fleet size, operational performance and cost implications for on-demand mobility systems, particularly in suburban, rural and low-demand areas. Through a user-friendly interface, planners can simulate different service scenarios and explore how vehicle numbers, service parameters and demand levels affect efficiency and economic sustainability.

Developed within the ArtMED Living Lab framework, the tool helps regions design more flexible, inclusive and low-carbon mobility solutions aligned with European sustainable mobility goals.

.MOBI is publicly accessible and available for use by cities, transport authorities, operators, researchers and mobility consultants seeking data-driven insights to evaluate or introduce DRT or AMoD services.
