A webinar on the health and environmental impacts of SUVs, and the actions taken to address these issues, will take place online on 19 February, from 14.30 to 16.00 (CET). The event will explore the SUV trend in the car market, its effect on urban space, road safety, and climate, and the regulatory measures cities are implementing to tackle these challenges.
Hosted by Clean Cities, Eurocities, POLIS, and Transport & Environment (T&E), the webinar will feature city leaders pioneering parking reforms to push back against large SUVs, alongside the launch of a new toolkit for policymakers interested in discouraging “SUVisation.”
The session is open to policymakers, urban planners, researchers, and anyone interested in sustainable urban mobility.
