The Urban-Air-Mobility Initiative Cities Community (UIC2) will hold another workshop on 11–12 June 2025 in Helsinki, co-organised with POLIS Network. This exclusive, members-only event will focus on key challenge and opportunity in the future of urban mobility, exploring how cities can combine and leverage multiple data streams to support UAV operations within the city's digital twin.
UIC2 is a collaborative platform and forms the Urban Air Mobility Thematic Cluster, focusing on sustainable, citizen-first approaches to emerging aerial mobility solutions. It acts as a forum for cities and regions across Europe to shape policy, share knowledge, and influence the development of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) services.
The two-day workshop will bring together UIC2 members to discuss how urban digital twin technologies can be used to support UAV operations. The aim is to improve how various data sources are integrated and shared across city systems, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and responsiveness of urban air mobility services.
If you are representing a city, region, or province within the EU that is working on, or simply interested in deploying Urban Air Mobility, you are encouraged to join the UIC2 community.
