Research and Innovation Week

The Research and Innovation Week (R&I Week) is the 2024 European Commission’s flagship event on research and innovation which will take place between 18 and 21 March 2024 in Tour & Taxis, Brussels, Belgium, as well as online, allowing everyone to get involved from anywhere.

Celebrating the 40-year journey through the Research and Innovation Framework Programmes, the R&I Week 2024 will showcase some relevant outstanding achievements, debate the role of R&I today and outline its contribution to EU future priorities.

The R&I Week 2024 gives you the opportunity to attend three different events:

  • The EIC Summit 2024 (19 March): Find out more about the impact of deep tech in opening new roads towards clean technologies and biotechnology that could provide us with energy, new materials, new medical solutions, and more.
  • The Belgian Presidency Conference on Innovation Procurement (19-20 March): Discover how to take Innovation Procurement to the next level in Europe.
  • The European R&I Days 2024 (20-21 March): This year’s Commission’s flagship event gives you the opportunity to debate and experience how we can make Europe greener, fairer, and more competitive.

There will also be a joint opening of R&I Week on 18 March.
