The POLIS Public Transport (PT) Lab webinar series aims to explore the future of public transport and its role in sustainable urban mobility.
The next edition of the series will take place online on 18 February 2025, from 11:00 to 12:30 CET. The discussion will cover insights and challenges of integrating public transport and shared mobility in three different living labs of the EU co-funded Seamless Shared Urban Mobility (SUM) project, with each focusing on a different aspect:
- Athens-Penteli (GR): Infrastructure redesign
- Larnaca (CY): Integration of ticketing systems
- Krakow (PL): Integration in peripheral/suburban areas
The SUM project aims to facilitate the transformation of mobility in 15 European cities by 2026 and in 30 European cities by 2030. This transformation involves the integration of new shared mobility modes with public transport, focusing on innovation, interconnectivity, environmental sustainability, safety, resilience and replicability.
