European Week of Regions and Cities 2025

The European Week of Regions and Cities will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 13 to 15 October 2025. Organised by the European Commission, the week will include interactive sessions, policy debates, workshops, EURegions Talk, exhibitions, and networking.

The motto for #EURegionsWeek 2025 is ‘Shaping tomorrow, together’ and has three key thematic areas:

  1. Cohesion and growth for the future – focusing on how to design a modernised cohesion and growth policy that’s linked to the political priorities of the EU, particularly sustainable prosperity and competitiveness, as well as preparing the EU for the future.
  2. The right to stay: unlocking the potential of every territory – offering the sevices that a community needs, such as public services and private activities, education and skills, health, transport, and digital connectivity.
  3. Cities building tomorrow – explore how to strengthen cities as engines for innovation, growth, and competitiveness, and how to boost their resilience and sustainability.

The event aims to foster cooperation, exchange knowledge, and address regional and urban challenges. The event is open to all and is free to attend.

Registration opens in mid-July. Click here for more information.
