The European Sustainable Energy Week is Europe's largest annual event taking place this year on 10-12 of June, in Brussels, Belgium as well as online. Organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy, the event is dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Under the theme "Powering a fair and competitive green transition", the three-day event brings together policymakers, industry representatives, researchers, and citizens to discuss and promote sustainable energy solutions. The 2025 edition will focus on the Clean Industrial Deal, exploring how EU energy policies can facilitate a green, competitive, and fair transition. This is relevant to urban mobility with respect to pathways for decarbonisation and promoting sustainable energy solutions for different modes.
Besides a high-level policy conference and an energy fair for exchanging ideas and best practices, the event will feature the European sustainable energy award winners as well as the European youth energy day.
